This is great for one-time assistance, as it requires someone on the host PC to approve and share a code.
On the Helper PC:
- Search for Quick Assist in the Start menu (or press Win Key + Ctrl + Q).
- Choose Assist another person.
- Sign into Microsoft if prompted.
- A 6-digit code will be provided on the screen.
On the remote PC to connect to:
- Search for Quick Assist in the Start menu (or press Win Key + Ctrl + Q).
- Choose Get help.
- Enter the code that the Helper gives you.
- The Help will ask for to Take Full control which you must approve.
